All about the Royal Trek.

The Royal Trek is one of the famous trekking trail and also the shortest treks that offer you a wonder picture of Nepal’s natural and cultural diversity. It follows a shrub like path north of the Pokhara valley along the foothills of Annapurna. The name Royal Trek has been given to this short trek as Britain’s Prince Charles along with his group members in the early eighties had explored this route. If you are looking to explore and experience meaningful journey to know the culture and a diverse mix of people that inhabit this region then this trek is the best option for you.

You will begin the Royal trek after you arrive at Kathmandu. We will visit various cultural sites in Kathmandu first where you will get to see different forms of medieval arts and architecture and learn about the culture, tradition and religion of Kathmandu. Then we will head to Pokhara the natural hub-spot of Nepal passing through beautiful Gurung villages while at the same time enjoying the scenic views of the fertile hillside rice terraces, the majestic Annapurna range, Mount Machapuchhre also known as the Fishtail Mountain and the Langtang mountain range. Then the trip will come to an end at the famous Begnas Lake located about 30 km west of Pokhara City.

We recommend this trekking trip to beginners who are restricted by time. The Royal trek presents spot on image of the uniqueness of Nepal’s lifestyle and allows you to capture the traditional lifestyles of the ethnic tribes whose ancient religious and cultural practices and traditions have remained unaffected for centuries.
