All about the Nepal Heritage Tour.

Nepal Heritage Tour is a comprehensive 11-day tour that offers an overall illustration of Nepal`s magnificent heritage. You will be visiting four different places with a unique set cultural, historical and natural wonders. First off we will be touring the cultural capital of Nepal –Kathmandu. It is a cultural melting pot as we will get to experience various aspects of Nepali tradition and the history behind the formation of the state. We will be visiting various heritage sites that have been listed on the UNESCO world heritage sites. This will be an opportunity to explore the cultural richness of the Kathmandu Valley.

The next destination on this tour will be the beautiful lake city of Pokhara. Pokhara boasts a wide range of natural wonders and is famous for its lakes. Adventure sports like paragliding and white water raft is also another attraction of Pokhara. Located at the lap of mesmerizing Mount Machhapuchre also known as Fish Tail Mountain and surrounded by the majestic Dhaulagiri and Annapurna Mountain ranges, Pokhara is one place that you should not miss.

The other tour destination on Nepal Heritage tour is Sauraha, Chitwan. The place is well known for the diverse flora & fauna of the Royal Chitwan National Park. An exhilarating wildlife safari is the main attraction of the place. You will get to be up close and personal with the wilderness of Nepal during this tour. Sauraha hosts a wide range of animal life and has been a sanctuary for the rare one-horned Rhino, gharials, crocodiles, the Himalayan Bison and birds of different size and colors.

The final destination of this tour will be the city of Lumbini. The city lies in the District of Rupandehi and is known for being the birth place of Lord Gautam Buddha.   1. Day 1 Arrival in Kathmandu

    Upon your arrival in the Kathmandu airport, our representatives will welcome you at the Tribhuvan International Airport and transfer you to the hotel. You can freshen up and take rest or stroll around the town as per you convenience after you check in at the hotel. In the evening, we will gather up for a welcome dinner and hold a brief pre-trip discussion where we will introduce you with your Tour guide. Overnight in hotel

  2. Day 2 Kathmandu Sightseeing

    On the second day we will begin our formal tour of the Kathmandu valley, starting with heritage sites in the Kathmandu district. After having our breakfast, we will commence on a guided sightseeing tour of the historical and spiritual sites inside Kathmandu. We will be visiting some of the places that have been listed in UNSECO World Heritage Sites. These landmarks include the historic Kathmandu Durbar Square which is the old palaces of the kings who reigned the valley, we will also be paying homage at the sacred Hindu temple of Pashupatinath, the famous Swayambhunath stupa also known as the ’Monkey Temple’ and the Buddhist shrine, Buddhanath, which is one of the largest Stupas in the world.

  3. Day 3 Patan & Bhaktapur Sightseeing

    Continuing on the Kathmandu valley tour we will head towards touring the heritage sites in and aroud Patan and Bhaktapur on the third day that showcase intricately carved windows, inherent roof struts, various ancient statues of deities, pagoda style temples with exotic carvings and metalwork among other attractions. We will drive towards Patan and explore various cultural, historical and religious places including the Patan Durbar Square, Kumbeshwor temple Mahaboudha Temple, Golden Temple, Krishna Temple among other sites. Then we will head to Bhaktapur and visit the famous Bhaktapur Durbar Square, Golden Gate, Lion Gate, that Bhaktapur Art Gallery, fifty-five windowed Malla Palace and the famous five storey Nyatapola Temple. We will then drive to Nagarkot for an overnight stay.

  4. Day 4 Sunrise View at Nagarkot/Rafting on river Trisuli & Drive to Pokhara

    We will rise early today so that we don’t miss the beautiful view of the sunrise from Nagarkot. After that we will have our breakfast and head towards Trishuli for 3-hour long white water rafting. The sunrise from the Nagarkot is a perfect example of nature at its best, as the most wondrous sight of sunrise will rejuvenate your senses. We will then head towards Pokhara but before that we will stop at Manakamana to ride the cable car from Kuringhat to reach the famous shrine. Then back to Kurintar and we will continue our drive to Pokhara and stay overnight stay in a hotel.

  5. Day 5 Pokhara Sightseeing

    On the fifth day, we will begin touring the beautiful lake city. After having our breakfast we will cover all the major places of tourist attraction. This includes Gupteshwor cave, the famous Devi’s Fall (Natural Water Fall), the Taal Barahi Temple that is in the middle of the Fewa Lake, Mahendra Cave and head to view the natural wonder—underground Seti River— from Mahendra Pul. We will also be visiting the International Mountain Museum and an one-hour boat ride on Fewa Lake.

  6. Day6 Drive to Lumbini

    On this day we will head towards the beautiful city of Lumbini, the birth town of Lord Gautam Buddha. We will leave Pokhara and ascend towards Palpa with amazing views along the serpentine highway. We will have our lunch at Palpa and continue our journey towards Lumbini.

  7. Day7 Lumbini Sightseeing

    On this day we will begin our day early and head towards various heritage sites of Lumbini. After taking breakfast we will take a stroll at the sacred Lumbini Garden, and visit the Maya Devi Temple along with it we will also be touring the Puskani Pond, and a landmark erected by King Ashoka—The Ashoka Pillar. Likewise a tour to the Buddha Temple and Lumbini Museum are also other attraction of this tour.

  8. Day8 Drive Lumbini to Chitwan

    We will head towards the wildlife rich city of Chitwan and head towards Sauraha. The drive will be a pleasant experience as we will drive through the plains with rich vegetation and cultivated land. We will reach Sauraha and stay overnight at a hotel.

  9. Day 9 Full day Safari activities

    On the ninth day we will spend our full day on safari activities. We will begin our day with a canoe ride at the Rapti river early morning and visit elephant breeding centre. And head back for breakfast the we will take an elephant ride inside the Chitwan Royal National Park, then we will take part in a Jeep safari deep inside the wildlife sanctuary and will also visit the gharial breeding centre. Then in the evening we will stroll on the outskirts of the national park for bird watching.

  10. Day 10 Drive back to Kathmandu

    On this day we will pack our bags and head back to Kathmandu on a bus. You will be driving alongside the beautiful Marshyangdi and Trishuli River throughout the journey. Likewise, the beautiful road side villages and towns will another thing to observe during the ride. In the evening we will hold a farewell dinner at the hotel and then take some rest or you can go out and do some shopping before leaving the town.

  11. Day 11 Final departure

    This is the last day of our tour. We will drop you off at the airport from where you will head towards your home or the next destination. Thank you for choosing us as your tour partner.
